Due to the extreme warm water temperature in the St. Joe River, the DNR is setting up a weir for collecting fish for the hatchery at our property. Be aware this is our future fish. Please note that the weir will be setting up in between the top run and and the middle run . This should not interfere with fishing on the property. The area will be cordoned off.

There will be a swap meet at the General Meeting on September 2nd.Please bring any fishing items that you would like to sell or exchange.
September 25th we will have King's Night Out at Michigan City Pier and the Harbor. We will have more information after the General Meeting.
The Coffee Creek Watershed Conservancy is hosting a free concert on Sept. 11, 2010 to pay tribute to those who lost their lives and to honor and thank the military, fire and police personnel who protect us so we can live in freedom.
The concert, featuring the South Shore Brass Band, will begin at 6:00 p.m. with the Presentation of Flags. It will take place at the Coffee Creek Watershed Preserve Ampitheater, located ¼ mile north of the Indiana Toll Road on Rte 49 in Chesterton, Indiana.
The public is invited to attend. You need only to bring a chair or blanket and any picnic items you want except alcohol which is not permitted in the Preserve. Then sit back and enjoy the evening with your families.
